Mandatory municipal mobility due to non-university studies

It shows the compulsory mobility of the population of the municipality from 3 years of age enrolled in second-cycle, primary, compulsory secondary, baccalaureate and vocational training courses. The people who study in the same municipality are shown and at the same time those who travel, with the corresponding municipalities of destination. It should be borne in mind that, due to criteria for the protection of statistical secrecy, the values - absolute numbers - are rounded to multiple values of 5. On the other hand, the geographical location of the municipalities corresponds to the geographical centre of the municipality, not to the location of the urban centre or the educational centres.

Compulsory mobility due to non-university studies not only provides information on the distribution of people in non-university studies (pre-school education, secondary, compulsory secondary, baccalaureate and vocational training), but also allows other readings to be associated, e.g. the availability of educational resources, the impact on people's time and day-to-day lives, the environmental impact, or the conditioning factors of the territory, especially of small municipalities, among others.
