Registrations of electrified and hybrid vehicles

We are currently in a moment of profound change in terms of electric mobility and energy transition. The climate emergency entails the need to reduce pollutant emissions to deal with it. Europe has drawn up a long-term plan for decarbonization, which sets a deadline for the sale of vehicles powered by fossil fuels: 2035. In line with these European guidelines and with the aim of decarbonizing the economy before 2050, the Spanish state approved Law 7/2021, of 20 May, on climate change and energy transition. Thus, the indicator of the number of registrations of electrified and hybrid vehicles per municipality allows us to know the evolution of this type of mobility in recent years in the municipalities of the demarcation of Girona.
